Whether you want to compete in prestigious competitions or play an instrument just for the joy of making music, our outstanding teachers will help you and your child achieve your goals. Shy or star, your child will be motivated and involved with hands-on, personalized instruction. After an interview, students are matched with the best teacher for them. They'll learn technique, music interpretation and repertoire, music theory, duets/ensembles and improvisation, as well as discipline and efficient practicing tools. Lessons include an array of traditional methods carefully chosen by the teacher to meet individual goals and needs.
Many opportunities are available to students who want to perform: Keys for Kids holds semi-annual studio Recitals (winter and spring), a studio Showcase concert, and a Piano Proficiency Evaluation for interested students. Additional opportunities include various local and national competitions and evaluations. New students are welcome throughout the year whenever space is available.
